RD-AquaFinish is an innovative product designed to provide a metallic effect for the renovation of claddings, garage doors, various equipment, furniture, and more. This coating can be applied as a finish on our anticorrosion products or directly on most non-metallic surfaces.
Thanks to its water-based formulation, RD-AquaFinish is a single-component product that is easy to apply and dries quickly.

Description of the product
USE:
High performance interior and exterior metallic effect enamel with superior properties.
FEATURES:
RD-Aquafinish 96 is a single-component topcoat based on acrylic and polyurethane resins that offers a hard flexible and wear resistant white aluminium film effect that can be used for decorative and protective purposes.
RD-Aquafinish 96 is water-based, easy to handle, safe and has no fire risks.
It is a fast-drying coating system that greatly reduces downtime during installation.
Virtually odour free, it does not affect neighbouring occupants and can therefore be used in occupied buildings.
RD-Aquafinish 96 creates a nice and smooth finish. Thanks to its high-quality aluminium pigments, it offers very good resistance to humidity and has a very good outdoor durability.

Choose a RAL 7040 for the color of the primer for better performance.
If the surface will be subject to chemical spills, high wear, or abrasion, apply one or two coats of RD-Hydrograff HP Clear as finish.
Indicated consumption is theoretical and does not consider potential losses during application. It can also be influenced by the porosity of the substrate.
Application instructions
APPLICATION CONDITIONS:
Ambient temperature: minimum 5°C (41°F) – Optimal between 12 and 25°C (54 and 77°F).
Relative humidity: maximum 80%
Surface temperature must be minimum 3°C (5°F) above dew point.
APPLICATION MEANS:
Brush, roller or low pressure pneumatic spray gun.
PREPARATION OF THE SUBSTRATE:
Preparation will depend on the kind of substrate. In general, the surface must first be coated with a primer, clean and degreased prior to applying RD-Aquafinish 96.
DILUTION:
Product is ready-for-use.
DRYING TIME (20°C - 68°F):
Touch dry: +/- 1h30 hour
Dry: +/- 2 hours
Recoatable: +/- 4 hours
CLEANING OF TOOLS:
Water
