Why use a reinforcing fleece?
The integration of a reinforcing fleece into a liquid waterproofing system significantly enhances its performance. Embedded in the membrane, it creates a homogeneous, continuous, durable, and almost tear-resistant coating.
Main advantages:
- Strengthens the mechanical resistance of the system and reduces the risk of cracking.
- Improves durability against climatic stresses and substrate movements.
- Increases safety on sensitive substrates (roofs, cracked façades, old masonry).
Especially recommended for renovation projects, the reinforcing fleece transforms the liquid coating into a stronger, more flexible, and more reliable system, suitable for the most demanding conditions.

USE:
Nonwoven reinforcement fabric for liquid-applied waterproofing membranes and floor coating systems on roofs, decks, and screeds.
FEATURES:
RD-Roof Fleece is a polyester micro-perforated mesh used to reinforce waterproofing systems and ensure the durability of the film, especially on metallic roofs, asphalt and bitumen membranes, decks and screeds needing to contain accidental liquid spills. It has excellent cracks bridging abilities with good resistance to UV, acids, and alkali.
RD-Roof Fleece is available in different sizes to better fit the needs.

Indicated consumption is theoretical and does not consider potential losses during application. It can also be influenced by the porosity of the substrate.
Application instructions
Unroll and cut the fleece to the desired dimension and lay it on the surface.
Roll or brush a first layer of RD-Elastodeck or RD-Elastometal through the mesh.
Ensure an overlap of 5 cm / 2 inches between each line of fleece.
